I had an aunt (mother side) who’s three years older than me. When she got married, I was far from her. But despite of that, she listed me as her bridesmaid. She even prepared bridesmaid gifts for me. She’s just asking one of the relatives to make a proxy for my presence in her wedding since I couldn’t make it that time. I was working so far and I didn’t have enough finances in traveling back home just to attend her wedding. Anyway, I was glad that despite I wasn’t there, my aunt had a successful wedding ceremony!  And oh, she had a gift for me!
